An equity director at CPMG, Nick joined the practice, then in the guise of James McArtney Architects, in 1995 after working in London for several years and has a first class portfolio of highly successful projects to his credit.Nick specialises in the concept design and delivery of major projects and has experience in several sectors including, education, healthcare, residential, industrial and masterplanning. Nick is experienced in the delivery of low energy buildings and is chairman of CPMG’s Environmental Group. Whilst very much an advocate of the ‘felt pen and tracing paper’ approach to design, Nick is driving the practice development in BIM.“The formation of CPMG in 2007 allowed us to broaden our horizons and we now work nationwide - with a number of excursions into Central Europe and more recently China. As a practice we cover most sectors, but my particular focus over the past several years has been on education projects at all levels, healthcare and masterplanning. We are lucky to have a very talented and committed group of people here and as a result our portfolio of work is expanding in both range and quality”.
