My name is Nicholas Poole and I am currently in my fourth year of the Bachelor of Community and Criminal Justice Program held at Conestoga College. This program has taught me much about the Criminal Justice System, including a variety of theories. These theories range from Criminology to social studies and social change. For my first three years, I have made the Dean's Honour List. I have been working at my current job since I was 15. Since then, I have worked my way up from "Assistant Instructor," to "Instructor Guard" and finally "Head Instructor Guard." For these jobs and since I was 12, I have been taking the necessary courses and earning a variety of awards for them. Some of these awards include, "Emergency First Aid Instructor," "Lifesaving Instructor," "National Lifeguard-Pool," "Aquatic Supervisor," and "High Five-Principles of Healthy Child Development." Between then and now, I have held other jobs simultaneously including "Temporary Aquatic Maintenance" and "Premier Martial Arts Instructor." I have been a part of teamwork and currently lead teams as a "Head Instructor Guard" and student rep. With all of my work experience, I have obtained many skills including, excellent communication, organizing, leadership, responsibility, empathy, high work ethic and much more. My skills are a mix of many soft skills and select technical skills regarding the Criminal Justice System and social studies that I am eager to present in my future career. In my spare time when I am not studying or working, I enjoy physical exercise including training in kickboxing.
