During this past summer, I worked for a private law firm that focuses on business and commercial litigation. My main responsibility was providing background information and insight on numerous Civil cases for attorneys. Along with that, I created a spreadsheet with over 10,000 documents into a well organized system that made it easy for attorneys to find the files they needed. This experience gave me a lot of insight not only into the legal system but also how the business side of the law works.

Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain

During my semester living in Barcelona, Spain I worked on the financial side of a real estate firm that focused on buying and selling properties across Europe. I spent my time working with my partner and now friend Guillem, who was from Barcelona, reaching properties mainly in Barcelona and Madrid that had potential to be bought, fixed, and sold. This was not only one of the best experiences of my career but of my life as I made connections from around the world, learned about financial real estate in Europe, and picked up a little Spanish.

During the summer of 2020, I worked for the Pine Harbor Group which is a branch of Morgan Stanley located in my hometown of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. During my time there I reached out to independent financial advisory firms in the greater Detroit area in hope to acquire new practices for Pine Harbor. Along with that, I studied and did research on publicly traded companies like Penn Entertainment and TDOC to provide insight for future investments of Pine Harbor. This was one of the best experiences of my college career as my knowledge of financial markets and the financial business in general grew a substantial amount.
