Part of a team of two engineers responsible for designing and executing MEM’s security posture encompassing their technology stack, geographically diverse datacenters and remote workforce. In congruence with the other operations team members, security at MEM is responsible for the full vulnerability stack as well. This includes patching, scanning, vulnerability review, log analysis, automation where applicable, hardening and compliance.

As head of cybersecurity initiatives for Columbia Insurance Group, I am responsible for leading, designing, and implementing the following initiatives:Strategic direction, developing and implementing policy, coordinating risk assessments/audits, identify/evaluate/report on cybersecurity and legal risks, lead compliance initiatives, implement and test disaster recovery/business continuity plans, as well as lead cybersecurity awareness and training initiatives.

Responsible for coordinating and consulting on security initiatives across the company. Notable initiatives include building the first company-wide security awareness campaign with monthly security awareness posters in addition to a National Cybersecurity Awareness Month campaign, coordinating the yearly PCI-DSS submission, and managing the company's first cybersecurity intern.

Coordinated audits related to information security with stakeholders from relevant departments. Notable audits included Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity and an audit of Shelter's VMWare infrastructure.

Our team acts as security consultants for the various systems and organizations on campus. Among other duties, we handle incident response, PCI compliance, BCM, as well as security assessments.

Our team is responsible for the majority of Windows Server instances for all four UM campuses.

I was responsible for the maintenance and installation of all things IT related for the academy. This included but was not limited to server hardware, server file systems, Active Directory, virtualization, network security and remediation, user support, laptop and desktop hardware, and the institution of a student support internship.

Recruited to maintain and manage all aspects of the store processes. Responsible for recruiting new store employees, scheduling coverage, training employees in store processes, and driving sales.

Recruited to assist technicians in helpdesk procedures, image & deploy workstations, and maintain hardware on campus. Assisted in the development of a student-led IT helpdesk.
