I'm a communications and market research professional. I provide support for people and businesses who need to build, protect or change their reputation. I began my working life as a teacher in Jerusalem, but switched to media when I moved to London, working first at Haymarket Publishing and then at The Guardian and Observer for nine years. My role at The Guardian was the application of research to support sales - either through increasing readership or increasing advertising - skills which are crucial to understanding and delivering effective communication campaigns. Supporting revenue generation is one of the key functions of good public relations and market research.
