- Designed Inventory Placement and Sales Allocation strategies for Mercado Libre's Fulfillment Network in Brazil and Mexico in order to reduce overall shipping costs and times, scaling processes from 4 to 20 warehouses.- Developed and oversaw of annual and quarterly roadmaps alongside tech and business teams, communicating status updates to Sr. Directors and VPs.- Led team of two analysts and participated in hiring efforts for the product team.- Refactored sales allocation data pipeline, creating tables that allowed over 30 network planning analysts to better understand and monitor how orders were being assigned to warehouses and resulted in the identification of opportunities to improve shipment pricing and routing strategies.- Coordinated efforts across tech, product and business teams to adjust sales allocation rules for supermarket buying flow after changes in shipment pricing policy reduced the vertical’s direct contribution by 2 percentage points, fixing the issue within 2 weeks.

- Developed and mantained Python script used by regional teams to manage inventory transfer scheduling processes given lack of tech team resources. The script enabled transfer of ∼1M+ units per week across warehouses in the Fulfillment network. Added features such as capacity management, product separation (or blocking) according to category allowed for smoother operational processes and specialized operations such as Supermarket or Bulky.- Designed and implemented low-code solution using BigQuery and Google Sheets integration that allowed network planning analysts to adjust sales allocationrules, obtaining a reduction of 10 percentage points (∼25%) in suboptimal shipments in Mexico.- Proposed the use of a load balancer for sales allocation algorithm when having a product in multiple warehouses in the same region and led the tech teamthroughout its implementation, increasing the percentage of inventory in more than one warehouse in the same city from 60% to over 90%.
