I performed intrusion detection and identified unauthorized logins, and served as the administrator for multiple public-facing websites in the ‘Army Registry of Networks and Layer-3 Devices’ (ARNLD). I communicated extensively with program managers and technical leads regarding the updating of documentation in the ARNLD database. In addition, I monitored systems for vulnerability alerts and I was the Primary Compliance Team member for responding to vulnerability scan requests. Selected Accomplishments: • Improved efficiency by creating a ticket tracker to maintain a history of tickets and facilitate the creation of dashboards and analytics for leadership. • Maintained the network whitelist and played a major role in adding new sites to the list. • Ensured the rapid reporting of non-compliant devices on the production network and the move of workstations and other contaminated devices to the quarantine space. • Enhanced decision-making capabilities by creating weekly quarantine, vulnerability, and remediation lists and providing a weekly report to senior management. • Reduced manual quarantine trouble tickets as part of the team that developed an automated quarantine process, which also minimized the need for manual vulnerability scans. • Key member of the Incident Response Team that identified, investigated, remediated, documented, and reported cyber security incidents involving workstations, servers, network equipment, and other hardware/software. • Processed cyber tasking orders for network blocking/unblocking and worked with Network Management on implementation of solutions.
