• Conduct routine service and receptionist work at UConn Health Information Desks with tasks including patient and visitor check-in procedures to enhance security protocol and performing consistent documentation and clerical work for streamlined operations• Display adaptability and efficiency in multitasking to contribute positively to the team and utilize clear communication and problem-solving to solve patient/visitor inquiries• Demonstrate various interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse group of patients and guests in order to foster a welcoming atmosphere and enhance the patient experience

• Assess abilities of 20-30 high school students to create dances and scenes in order to help facilitate the story-telling of the chosen musical for the season• Collaborate with a diverse staff to design and execute the production of Mamma Mia, The Little Mermaid, The Addams Family, and The Wizard of Oz

• Instruct weekly academic sessions for a class of peer mentors and provide guidance on university policies and procedures while also providing one-on-one academic coaching and advisement to undergraduate students, peer mentors, and academic coaches• Recruit students to serve as peer mentors for the subsequent semester and conduct interviews to gauge interest and determine readiness of the potential mentor • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and colleagues regarding academic progress of the students enrolled in the mentorship program while informing them of relevant dates a policy updates and deadlines

• Create, develop, and manage health-focused social media content and educational materials to share on various platforms – including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, X, Constant Contact, Billboards, Bus Ads, posters and brochures – while assuring the content and style engages residents, meets literacy levels of the intended audience and aligns with the mission, vision, and branding of the health department • Assist in planning, organizing, promoting and successfully executing press and large-scale events that the health department is attending and/or hosting • Collaborate with Public Health Educator on the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for health communication initiatives to ensure internal consistency, a foundation for communication efforts, and alliance with public health essential services and accreditation standards

• Collaborate with professional staff at UConn to facilitate conversations and trainings to students regarding the mentor and coaching roles at the Academic Achievement Center • Act as a liaison between the student staff and professional staff by attending weekly upper tier leadership meetings and bi-weekly student staff meetings• Lead a Peer Mentor Course comprising of 35-50 undergraduate student mentors through a Teaching Assistant role by assisting with lesson planning, preparation and execution of course materials and grading• Observe and provide constructive feedback to Academic Coaches during their weekly discussion classes and office hours

• Communicate regularly and effectively with fellow coaches and professional staff during weekly academic coaching sessions; and conduct weekly discussion sessions with a class of 10 peer mentors, facilitating intellectual conversations regarding academic resources and policies at the University of Connecticut• Incorporate innovative and data-driven holistic theories and practices to support students and enable success in their personal and academic journeys at the University of Connecticut

• Serve as a peer mentor in the University’s largest academic intervention program, facilitating weekly meetings with three to five student mentees on academic probation to support their academic journeys at the University of Connecticut• Incorporate the knowledge of University resources to conduct interactions with students for the purpose of assisting them in developing new academic and personal strategies to help improve their academic standings

• Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate daily events and programs for children aged 5-14 while enforcing camp policies to ensure camper safety during the eight-week summer season• Trained, instructed, and supervised a group of 30-40 Counselors in Training to develop their leadership skills and empower their personal growth towards becoming a counselor• Inspired an atmosphere with the intention of promoting the Camp Mission: “The lessons of camp outlive the games that teach them”
