Preform design and prepress tasks. Designing and proofing is completed directly with the customer ranging in many different custom products - ie: signs, packaging, vinyl wraps and more. Prepress portion of the job is preparing and ripping artwork for large format HP, Jetti, and wide format HP vinyl printers using Adobe Suite, Onyx, Asanti, and Corel Draw. Cut files are produced for Kongsberg cutters. Additionally I help maintain the client folders and prepress resources.

Being a production artist allowed me to get a great understanding of press needs. As a production artist I took submitted customer artwork and manipulated and adjusted it to best meet the customer needs while still meeting press requirements. This included color correction, cut margin, bleeds, font conversion, and much more. This position also gave me the opportunity to work in a fast paced environment and learn proper job management.
