I am currently transitioning to becoming an occupational therapist, driven by a passion for enhancing the well-being of others through therapeutic care. As a volunteer with the MOH Healthcare Corps, I am currently posted at Khoo Teck Phuat Hospital, where I contribute to the "Garden by the Bed" horticultural therapy project. This initiative allows me to work closely with patients, helping to improve their mental and emotional well-being through nature-based activities.In addition to my volunteer work, I also hold a part-time position as an eldercare companion at Khoo Teck Phuat Hospital. My role focuses on addressing the socio-emotional needs of patients with dementia, delirium, and depression, providing them with the support and care they need during their hospital stay.Beyond healthcare, I run a home-based business specializing in artisan traditional cakes from Asia. These cakes are crafted from treasured family recipes that have been passed down through generations, preserving a slice of our cultural heritage.I originally trained as an Animator at Lasalle College of the Arts and graduated from the University of London. My career as a creative 3D Generalist allowed me to contribute to notable projects at ArchVogue Creatives and Omens Studios. My work has been featured in various high-profile locations, including Gardens by the Bay (Children’s Festival Nature Imaginarium), Mandai Wildlife Reserve (Take Flight with Museum of Fine Arts, Boston x Audubon), Jewel Changi Airport (Meet the World at Jewel this Christmas), and Mediacorp (Counting with Paula, Seasons 4 and 5).
