The Health Information Service consisted of 88 FTE and delivered medico-legal, clinical classification, transcription, records management, privacy, eMR, PAS and data services.

As the Health Information Manager for Sydney IVF (now Genea) I was responsible for the management of health information services across 14 clinic sites Nationally.

Manager of Information Services for Longueville Private involved medico-legal activities, basic records management, clinical coding, case-mix and DRG assignment etc. I worked mainly on implementing discharge planning as per DRG category and negotiatiated case-mix based payments as opposed to per diem rates for favorable DRGs. I introduced care category.
