With over 15 years of experience in the public sector, I am a passionate and dedicated manager of Indigenous Relations and Organizational Inclusion at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo), one of Canada's largest and most diversified institutional investment managers. In my current role, I lead the development and implementation of AIMCo's Indigenous Relations Strategy, which aims to foster inclusive and respectful relationships with Indigenous communities, businesses, and organizations, as well as to enhance the diversity and cultural competence of our workforce. I previously oversaw the Flexible Workplace project, which leveraged the Results Only Work Environment (ROWE) methodology as well as an in-house initiative I led to create a more agile, productive, and engaged organization. As a Project Leadership Certificate holder, I have extensive knowledge and skills in procurement, contract management, project coordination, and vendor relationship management. I have successfully managed and executed multiple contracts and projects, ranging from e-commerce platforms and enterprise-wide IT projects to logistics and transportation services, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and sustainability. I am committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and beyond, and promoting cultural awareness and sensitivity to empower underrepresented communities.
