As President of Elmbridge Choir, a voluntary organisation, my role is to offer guidance and advice to the management committee.

Until end of 2018 presented a 3 hr weekly pop radio programme on brooklandsradio.co.uk, a community radio station that broadcasts various music genres interweaved with e.g. local news, travel, and details of forthcoming events in Surrey. Covid restrictions turned that into a weekly show recorded at home. Currently have a live 3 hr Friday show 10:00-13:00 from our studios in Weybridge.

As Honourary President of Music Innovations, a company which trades as Surrey Music (now that Surrey Music is no longer a registered charity) my role remains one as advisor and representative of the organisation. Surrey Music was closed and its choirs continued as separate entities. 1

Leading the team running the marketing, communications and customer engagement work associated with (mostly) established BT Wholesale products (ethernet, broadband, voice), with additional involvement in BT Wholesale related NGA work.

Promoted to GM in 2006, the role being to ensure effective consultation with BT Wholesale and Openreach customers on aspects of the introduction of BT’s 21st Century Network (21CN), in particular the destiny of todays obligatory products and business interfaces in a 21CN world, and the initial new and replacement obligatory products. This “Consult21” programme is delivered through consultation and issues management via a structure of industry working groups and various expert groups that are run by members of my team alongside BT subject experts.Engagement areas now extended into Customer Experience and non-obligatory product areas.

The role was to ensure the identification and delivery of key customer requirements to support the BT Strategy of attaining 5 Million lines in 2005.This involved (amongst other things!) establishing a new Broadband Marketing Unit, and delivering significant improvements to the process operation for managing customer requirements to the benefit of account teams and customers.

In the new Managed Broadband Venture unit, led a team working on the development, introduction and in-life management of its product portfolio. This covered e.g. setting the product roadmap, establishing and enforcing the operational relationships with our suppliers (who provided much of the functionality), gaining business-wide approval for developments, and driving service establishment with new customers.
