I worked in marketing and sales, managing businesses in the UK and Western Europe. I managed sales teams and product launches and saw people achieve incredible results when they had a clear focus on what they wanted to accomplish. I also successfully led rebuilding the performance of a complex $300m business in Western Europe, focusing teams across the continent on change (both internal and external) and delivering substantially improved results. During this time I learned how individual people and teams working together can achieve amazing things when the right knowledge and commitment are teamed with enthusiasm and clear, achievable objectives.
