AMScott was a joint venture between Carillion and Scott Wilson and was the Managing Agent Contractor for the Highways Agency in Area 7 covering Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and Leicestershire.Main duties included identifying opportunities for proactive publicity, writing, producing and distributing newsletters to the public and partners, advising Highways Agency managers and AMScott staff on presentation, providing briefing for media interviews and carrying out radio interviews on behalf of the Highways Agency. Also responsible for boosting the profile of AMScott, ensuring staff are aware of corporate branding, producing information for the Highways Agency’s website and AMScott intranet and all other communications issues.
