At the core of my role is numerical modelling, data analysis and project management. At ABPmer, I have progressed from Researcher to Consultant and then to Senior Consultant.I work with clients which include the energy industry (both renewable and conventional), construction, aviation, aggregate and port industries as well as government agencies and various private consultancies (both UK and overseas).I am unique in that I can understand engineering issues and provide support from an oceanographic perspective. Equally, I understand the needs of engineering design from a metocean perspective. At ABPmer, we form the leading edge of metocean reporting for the marine renewables industry. Using numerical models we develop the data which forms the foundation of metocean reporting and provide support to our clients all the way through to the certification stage with the likes of DNVGL and Lloyds Register, as well as the application of the metocean reporting by client's engineers at the design and construction stage.
