Ms. Walker has 25 years of progressive work experience in real estate due diligence consulting, specializing in the management of Phase I ESAs and other related services. She began her career as a staff environmental scientist and field associate, worked up to technical report reviewer, environmental project manager, technical relationship manager, and then senior environmental consultant. Currently, Ms. Walker serves as a national account manager and senior project manager based in Partner’s Atlanta office, and is a Principal of the firm. Ms. Walker’s day-to-day responsibilities include project oversight, staff supervision, employee training, report review, and client management. She is responsible for ensuring consistency and quality of due diligence services and providing senior review expertise to ensure conformance with ASTM standards and EPA’s AAI. She has also been involved in developing scopes of work and customizing reports to meet client needs, including the development of a tiered approach for assessing environmental risk on gas station properties for low dollar loans.Over the past 25 years, Ms. Walker has successfully performed, reviewed or managed due diligence projects for thousands of properties throughout the United States and in Europe for various national and regional lenders, banks, investors and property owners. Ms. Walker is familiar with due diligence requirements of varied number of reporting standards including ASTM, AAI, SBA, FDIC, USPS, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and HUD. As a result, she understands the specific needs and scopes of work required for the different parties involved in the transaction. Her due diligence resume includes experience in various product types, including, Phase I ESAs, Limited Environmental Assessments, Environmental Transaction Screens, Database and Historical Record Reviews, SBA Record Search with Risk Assessment (RSRA), USPS Environmental Reviews, NEPA Evaluations, and surveys for asbestos, lead, radon and mold.
