The Ehlers-Danlos Support UK (EDS UK) is a small charity with big ambitions. We support, advise and inform those living with the connective tissue disorders Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS) and hypermobility spectrum disorders (HSD) and help them to live full, active and positive lives.We also work closely with medical and healthcare professionals to increase the understanding of EDS and HSD in medical practice across the UK and to improve knowledge of the conditions through research.

StEPS was set up in 2015 to widen the support offered to vulnerable age ranges in the St Albans District and beyond. Its aims are to work with families who are vulnerable and in need of advice, help and support through more chaotic and troubling times. This can be for a variety of reasons, from anti social behaviour, drug and alcohol abuse, domestic violence or behavioural issues. We also work with children with SEND (special educational needs or disabilities). We run Parenting courses and workshops which we target parents and carers to attend - some of these are 2 hour workshops and some are courses ranging from 4 to 8 weeks in length on a variety of different subjects - 'Understanding Boys' 'Understanding Teens' 'Positive Parenting and discipline' 'The family tookit' and many more.Services provided include parenting support, integrated practice for children and young people ensuring early intervention, adult and family learning platforms.
