Taste testers include our very own K-9 family; Mia the White German Shepherd, Toby the Old Man, and Trixie the Papillon. Speaking of our testers, they are the reason we started making gourmet dog treats. After looking at treats available at local stores, we wanted something healthier and tastier, so our first Mia Treat was peanut butter poppers. To our surprise, peanut butter poppers became Mia, Toby and Trixie’s favorite until the liver treats were made. Once the liver treats began to bake, every single human in the entire pack could not tolerate the smell of the baking liver treat and ran out of the house for about three hours. Meanwhile, the dogs would not stay out of the kitchen even though every door in the house was wide open. As soon as the liver treats came out of the oven and cooled to the perfect temperature, we tested them on our pups who then devoured them so fast we wondered if they had time to chew them first. Needless to say, the liver treats have become the most popular Mia Treat thus far.
