Texas Western Hospitality is the management company in charge of running the Marriott brand hotel in which I am currently employed at. The Marriott brand hotel is a Residence Inn extended-stay property. As a front desk agent, I am expected to uphold Marriott standards and provide exceptional service to all guests. During the first few months of my employment I was simply starting off as a learning employee. Since then, however, I have become a contributing staff member adding towards the reputation and the revenue of my hotel. I quickly learned to operate the property's management system fosse and have even taken over responsibility of the small market area near the front desk. I have worked both days and nights, often alone. Due to this I have expanded my area of expertise by completing responsibilities not assigned to my job description. Since assuming responsibility for the market our hotel has seen a visible increase in market revenue and appeal. As a detail-oriented individual I strive to make every little thing perfect. Lastly, since I have started working at the Residence Inn I have noticed a significant change to my interpersonal and technical skills. I have always been proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, but working at the hotel has further advanced my knowledge of these software programs.

Avanti International is one of the most experienced producers of high-quality injection grouts in North America. Their products can be applied in almost every industry to help stop water infiltration, stabilize soils, encapsulate hazardous waste, and control groundwater. As an intern there I streamlined warehouse organization as well as performed day-to-day tasks given by all levels of the company’s hierarchy. For a substantial portion of my initial time there, I was tasked with creating spreadsheets for the sales team and filing for the accounting department. Due to the announcement of the pandemic and being extremely detail-oriented, I worked remotely organizing old data and finding new information regarding potential clientele.While working at Avanti I also achieved self-taught knowledge of AutoCAD (mechanical engineering and design software) which I then used to create up-to-date blueprints of the main building and new warehouse. All measurements used for the blueprints were hand-measured to ensure maximum accuracy.
