During my time at Twitter I focused on building tools that would allow designers to iterate faster on designs. I built a tool that scans Figma design files for tweet components and auto-fills them with mock data making it faster to produce high fidelity mock-ups.After presenting the tool to designers across all product teams, I used their feedback to improve it by adding more functionalities like including 3 tweet formats, and generating realistic reply, like and retweet numbers to further reduce monotonous tasks from the designers' workflows.

During my time as an intern, I focused on improving accessibility in the existing design system and production site to meet regulatory obligations. I implemented accessibility standards into the in-house React component library so they would be accessible out of the box when used on client sites. I also reworked UI flows to meet ARIA standards and ensure that the content could be interacted with through keyboards and screen readers. Based on my work with the desktop site, I was then put in charge of auditing the mobile site to ensure that the more minimal UIs would have thorough labelling and enough readable content, so as to provide a good experience for all users. This provided a guide for improving accessibility on other client sites going forward.

Course Studio builds sites for creators to sell, launch and manage online courses. My role was to build an integration tool between the Thinkific LMS API and the WordPress client site. The function of the tool was to help the site developers add and manage data in the backend of the site and also provide front-end integrations that the user would use to manage their data. I also developed backend functionality for making API calls and storing the data in a WordPress plugin (PHP) that would be used in all future client sites. Furthermore, I created 10+ React components as a starting point for a component library. Finally, I also completed feature requests and bug fixes for UIs on 5 existing client sites.

I created a React app for office staff to set availability times and add custom notes to improve communication and reduce time wasted for finding people in office. I designed the Postgres database and UI for the app. I planned department-wide rollout of the app and demoed the app to other departments as well.I also developed a React-Flask web app to replace the existing, primitive method formanaging the internal inventory system. I designed the UI to be intuitive, accessible and responsive resulting in easier and efficient data entry.

I focused on developing and improving tools that researchers would use for their data. One such tool that I developed was a web tool for uploading CSV data files. I created the UI and implemented the backend functionality for storing the data in a Postgres database (AJAX, JS, PHP).On a data visualization tool I implemented dynamic menus and view options to improve the user experience.Finally, I assisted employees with running bash scripts for transferring files inpreparation for a department-wide update.
