Implemented an end-to-end data-driven automation tool leveraging several open-source software tools: Selenium, Playwright, JavaScript, TypeScript, Jest, and GitHub Actions, runs in development pipeline and replaced a very expensive licensed software (subject-7) tool saving the company 10K+ USD per month and even more when testing at scale.Developed an in-house Load test simulation tool using Unix shell script & Azure for 30K users, that helped in generating the load on the application under test and helped in releasing to white labeled customers, thereby saving cost in buying licensed tools.Mentored 10+ developers along with junior automation engineers in writing their own tests using the automation framework that helped them in testing the bugfix in their local environment before pushing code, to ensure the particular bugfix should not break other major functionalities. That reduces manual testing effort and cost to the company and allows for rapid software releases.Led in all scrum events, creation and allocation of automation story, and task tickets, estimation and setting milestones.Oversaw automation runs for pre-production tests to find out stopper issues and raise the alerts at the earliest that helped developers in fixing and releasing to the prod.Implemented the release process for devs, QA and platform teams to work together and was leading from the QA side in providing the sign-off after performing pre and post production tests.

Introduced open-source test automation leveraging Selenium, Python, Jenkins, GCP, Docker, and GIT by implementing certain design patterns, created all function libraries, page object model, Defined the automation process, coding standard to handle multiple projects. Thereby fully replacing expensive licensed tools like ‘Test Architect’ and UFT that saved a huge cost to the company.Implemented automation for native apps in Android mobile devices using Appium and Python.Set up WebFOCUS infrastructure using Perl and Unix Shell scripting, to ensure 15+ sandboxes are updated with the latest daily nightly build, which helped everyone including upper management in saving time and effort in build installation and deployment.Managed the automation team of 12 members: Recruitment, training, mentoring, code review, planning, scheduling, estimating, identifying risks, providing mitigation plan, release deliverables, tracking, resource leveling, feasibility analysis, risk mitigation plan, coordination between onshore and offshore team.
