I am a physicist and software engineer with an addiction problem, problem solving. This recursive appetite for them led me to seek new problems to solve in IT industry as a software developer.Always seeking for chalenging problems, Ι find myself dealing with astronomy, physics, optoelectronics and eventually software engineering as it is the most accessible and inflationary problem generator. My belief is that software can help to build a sustainable and exciting world, erasing the boring and repetitive tasks and Ι am glad to contribute in this endeavor.I have 3+ years of experience as a software developer.For the last two years as a freelancer, I developed real-time web scraper services as microservices utilizing technologies such as:● Python● Javascript● SQL● Git● Docker● Kubernetes● FastAPI● Django, Django REST● PostgreSQL, MySQL● WebSockets, MQTTI was researcher and i worked for 4 years in the NLOLA-Lab with my contribution, alongside research, being: ● The development (optoelectronics, software) of a single shot autocorrelator and an AC autocorrelator device in order to measure the pulse duration of a femtosecond laser. ● The development (optoelectronics, software) of an Optical Kerr Effect femtosecond device in order to study the nonlinear optical properties of materials.● The development (optoelectronics, software) of a Thermal Lens Z-scan device in order to measure the thermal nonlinear optical properties of graphene solutions.These devices made the laser operational and paved the way to 10+ academic publications.● The development of the nonlight python library for the analysis of experimental data from nonlinear optics experiments. With the implementation of this library the time needed to process the experimental results has been reduced from one week to one day. ● The development of the Phos python library for parsing CCD camera data.
