I assist with setting up, running, and taking down public events at the North Carolina Musuem of Natural Sciences. So far, I have worked Bugfest (September 16), Nocturnal by Nature (October 27), Astronomy Days (February 3-4), and Dueling Dinosaurs (April 27). During all but one of these, I also managed and assisted volunteers, and have used skills such as organizing lunch stations, engaging with the public, and building crafts.

I cultivated an inclusive living-and-learning experience for my (roughly) forty residents.I built relationships and provided support with residents through one-on-one meetings.I executed duty schedules within a team of 30 RAs to serve 1000+ residents in 4 dorms.I served on the RA Council as a representative from my area of campus (TOTA).I created social and educational event for residents for their well-being.I coordinated with other departments on campus as needed.I mediated interpersonal issues using skills learned at conflict management training.

I participated in daily excavations within a team of 20 interns and 10 leaders.I received hands on instruction in field methods.I learned archaeological method and theory during lectures, assignments, and follow-up research papers.I was awarded a grant to participate, based on merit, enthusiasm for the project, and leader recommendation.

I engaged residents by planning activities that promoted academic support and overall development.I established relationships with residents to provide emotional support.I served as a Teaching Assistant for a freshman introductory course, involving guest lecturing, making lesson plans, and meeting one-on-one with students.
