Our clients are household names (Expedia, RBS, Aviva, Kerry Foods, GE Healthcare, Audley Group and Rolls-Royce to name but a few). Our work wins awards. We take our jobs seriously, but not ourselves. We come to work smiling, even on Mondays.

Co-Founder & Creative Director

Ca3

London, United Kingdom

CA3 is an award-winning employer brand and comms agency with innovation & creativity at its core. We have three areas of delivery: Talent Attraction & Employer brand, Eli Onboarding (elionboarding.com) and Internal Comms and we like to flex our creative muscle in each. Great work. Great relationships. That's why we created CA3. It's the reason we walk into the office smiling (even on Mondays), the reason our clients love us, and the reason our work, well... works. So, whether we're helping you to attract new talent through an innovative careers website, advising you on your global onboarding strategy, or winning the hearts and minds of your employees, our solutions deliver results and enhance your reputation as an employer. CA3 has five values. They guide us, inspire us, push us and, occasionally, annoy us. A bit like the boss (sorry boss): Truthful, Simplicity, Teamwork, Flexibility and Bold. To find out more about me or CA3 (and how we can help enhance your employer reputation), simply get in touch.

Creative Director

Originally brought in to put TCS back on top of the creative pile, my role has changed and developed as the company has done the same. A member of the leadership team, my knowledge and experience helped guide and steer TCS through a big time of change, not only from a creative point of view, but also at a strategic business level. That strategy kept us profitable throughout mini recession (no small feat), and also helped us retain the very best people in the industry. In 2008, TCS' business focus changed, with the aim of producing digitally led creatively inspired solutions. This was not just another false company promise though. We fundamentally changed the way we worked, encouraging any training and learning with a direct digital link. The outcome is a creative department with skills and abilities akin to that of a web design agency, as well as a clean sweep of the RADs microsite category in 2009, and a creative department that led the industry for more than two years. In May 2010 TCS became Penna Communications. This meant a lot of changes and challenges (bringing together three different creative teams as one, being the biggest), but our goal was still the same - award winning, digitally inspired solutions. My greatest achievement in my time as creative director was building a close-knit team of fabulously talented people. Creative, production, digital - we were all one team - dedicated to producing the best creative work in the industry.

Jan 2006 - Jan 2012

Senior Art Director

Bernard Hodes Group

Hodes was a real turning point in my career, where I was lucky enough to work on many, many projects covering every conceivable media (and plenty of inconceivable ones too). I was also lucky enough to work closely with some pretty amazing clients, not only helping to develop their recruitment comms, but also the strategy and thinking behind their employer brands which covered the entire employee lifecycle. Projects of note include a challenging, but rewarding, Europe-wide graduate campaign Enterprise Rent-a-Car - culminating in 3 major industry awards, and 6 nominations. And, the Philips global employer brand. The first of it’s kind (as far as I know), and three years in the making, this project defined Philips internally and externally, revolutionised their recruitment process, reduced global attrition and picked up my first employer brand CIPD to boot. As a senior art director there, I was lead creative on Philips, Enterprise Rent-a-car, Tesco Pharmacy and Marks and Spencer.

Freelance Art Director

Not quite so much a roving freelancer as a semi-permanent staff member at two key agencies - JWT and GMBM Advertising. After initial week-long assignments, I was taken on rolling long-term contracts, enjoying a large amount of autonomy. At both agencies, I had had direct involvement with clients, took part in major presentations and pitches, and (due to the size of the agencies, undertook project management on large scale creative projects from planning to completion.
