Two of the three positions, (Port Services and WHE Managers) held are required by the contract between Jacobs (BOSC) and the US Navy (NAVFAC) because of their importance to the mission of supporting the vessels of the world’s finest Naval Fleet. As Port Services and WHE Manager, my leadership ensured timely connection and disconnection of electrical, water, CHT(sewage), and oily water services as well as crane service to assist with service connections, brow installation and removal, and any other stores, equipment or maintenance work requiring crane service. NAVFAC and the US Navy routinely complimented the Port Services and WHE Departments for exceptional service. We provided outstanding services for 27 home ported vessels 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. As BSVE Manager, I managed a team of mechanics and support personnel to maintain Naval Station Mayport’s fleet of approximately 300 vehicles, trucks, forklifts, tractors, cranes, trailers, fire trucks, ambulances, fuel trucks, aerial work platforms, ATVs, and portable pumps. All maintenance performed was in accordance with NAVFAC P-300 and P-307 requirements. From December, 2019 to December, 2020, I was also employed as a Facilities Maintenance Manager to help with the backlog of facility service order work. Senior Management asked me to help reduce the backlog of approximately 200 late service orders which the current manager was unable to do. Under my leadership, the service order backlog was reduced to less than 10 late which were maintained at that level until no longer under my leadership.

Ensured quality deficiencies identified upon delivery of the LCS vessels to the US Navy were corrected to the specifications required for delivery of the vessel.

Conduct efficient administration. Continually monitor staff resources available and ensure they are so deployed as to maximize production. Ensure all work is carried out per the Company's quality standards, procedures, and requirements. Ensure all safety regulations are complied with. Devise and implement rewards / incentives to motivate employees with respect to productivity. Assure that the work accomplished by the company is done correctly, on time, and within budget according to contract requirements.

Created, maintained, and analyzed budgets, records, logs, and production schedules to ensure work is accomplished within budget and on time. Coordinated with craft supervision, Production Manager, QA, and Safety to ensure planning requirements are established and met. Reviewed and submitted all condition reports to the customer including associated cost and possible schedule disruptions. Negotiated and settled all change orders and final invoices with the customer. Maintained all change order estimates and created job opening sheets as required. Attended required meetings with the customer as well as the employer. Held daily on sight production meetings with supervisors, QA, and safety to ensure all aspects of the project are being planned and executed in a safe and productive manner while upholding required quality requirements. Coordinated with supervision and subcontractors to ensure schedule conflicts do not arise between different trades. Promoted to Production Manager on October 3, 2016.

Supervised and managed mechanical engineers, designers, and draftspersons. Responsible for overseeing Mechanical Engineering Department goals for the design and construction of the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) and Fast Frigate (FF) programs for the US Navy. Prepared, oversaw, and assigned design calculations and drawing development to support the LCS and FF program goals. Reviewed, evaluated, checked, and corrected drawings and calculations. Progressed all mechanical engineering work for the LCS and FF programs. Interacted with production, multiple design teams from several companies, customer representatives, and equipment manufacturers.

Supervised and managed all piping system repairs performed by BAESSY MROC including but not limited to: PW, CHT, VCHT, LP and HP compressed air, control air, fuel oil, cargo oil, lube oil, hydraulic, fire protection, sea water cooling, and exhaust. Established job manning levels and assignments for up to 60 craft employees. Estimated costs for piping systems repairs. Supervised engineering projects for both shipyard facilities and shipboard systems. Ensured that quality piping system repairs were accomplished in the safest, most cost effective manner within a specified time period.

Supervised and managed ship repairs, overhauls, and modifications for both commercial and military vessels. Acted as liaison between the ship owner and the shipyard. Worked closely with regulatory agencies with respect to inspecting, testing, and reporting requirements for the ship’s structural, mechanical, electrical, and coating systems. Developed, tracked, and maintained production schedules and craft budgets. Prepared estimates for required work. Coordinated and scheduled production work between various crafts, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and ship owners. Lead On-Board Coordinator for the 2009 dry-docking availabilities of the USCGC Mohawk (WMEC-913), USS Underwood (FFG-36), and the USS Roosevelt (DDG-80). Dry-dock coordinator for the 2009 DSRA of the USS Philippine Sea (CG-58) including supervision of the change out of the SYM type Sonar Dome Rubber Window (SDRW) to a STL type SDRW.

Managed commercial construction of retail stores, shopping centers, office buildings, nightclubs, restaurants, churches, and tenant renovations. Developed and administered subcontracts for construction work. Worked closely with owners, architects, engineers, and building officials to resolve construction related issues. Developed and maintained construction budgets and schedules. Left Trek because of lack of work.

Obtained State Certified Building Contractor's License #CB C043165 in January 1988. Construct new buildings or additions for residential or commercial projects.

Planned, directed, and supervised the daily activities and operations of the marine terminal relating to terminal operations, facility and equipment maintenance, security, and cargo control. Developed plans, concepts, and recommendations for the improvement of the marine terminal facilities and equipment. Developed and maintained operational and maintenance budgets. Left JAXPORT to pursue construction interests.
