Starting as a dishwasher at the Big Kitchen, I have quickly worked my way up to Busser, then to Cashier Clerk, and to where I am now as a Server and Shift Manager in just under two months.As a server, I attend to an average of 3-8 tables at one time, ensuring they are consistently happy throughout their dining experience. I must understand every position of the restaurant and how they operate to work well with our team and work as efficiently as possible.Often, my shifts will work open to close, and I, along with other team members are trusted with cleaning, preparation, and accounting for safety measures after we close.

As a customer service specialist at Five Star Fish Processing, I begin by taking care of customers very early morning, as our team greeted charter boats at Fisherman's Landing in Point Loma. Succeeding our work at the landing, we finish our day with physical labor and continued customer service and hospitality back at our shop.Our job is to ensure a detailed count of the customer's fish, including their weight, and species. Our attention to detail must be extremely high, as these receipts will account for the customer's yield when they pick up the fish, whether it is later that day, or they are freezing their catch for later pickup.We must maintain a positive attitude and impressive work ethic to allow the day to run smoothly with little to no mistakes.

Starting as a busser at The Loft, I became a server the summer I turned eighteen, allowing for an easy transition after my two-year tenure previously. As a server, I worked through POS systems and collaborated with team members, both back and front of the house, to effectively care for customers.On an average shift, I would have 2-8 tables, and complete $1200 - $3000 in food and beverage sales with near perfect execution.

As the Social Operations Chair of the Delta Chi Fraternity at San Diego State, I communicated effectively with various on and off-campus organizations.Through communication, I planned and help coordinate social, philanthropic, and team building events that improved the fraternity to the best of my ability.
