Conceived, edited, and launched two successful independent technology podcasts with >3000 paying subscribers and 50k weekly listeners. Brad & Will Made a Tech Pod and The FOSS Pod have extensive followings on Discord made up of wonderful nerds who share their deep wells of expertise with each other. Developed custom tools to make managing the community and extracting value from it manageable for a very small team.

Streams 4-5 times a week on Twitch with average viewership in the 150-250 viewer range. Fostered an inclusive Discord community of ~1500 wonderful folks from the viewer base. Raised more than $60k for Extra-Life over the last three years. Has run sponsored streams for NVIDIA, Steelcase, and more.

Crafted both internal and external communications for a small indie game studio. Developed and executed strategy to build a successful community Discord. Built pitches for external publishers and potential investors. Managed releases, pricing, store pages, etc across multiple platforms for an indie multiplayer game with >1M players. Worked in Unreal and Wwise to do sound engineering and final mixing for The Anacrusis.

Conceived of initial product and built team to design and implement multiple versions of the core FOO Animation Studio tech. Successfully sold and managed multiple concurrent projects using the animation studio tool, including a successful Kickstarter for The FOO Show, a 20-episode show on Adult Swim's digital network, a nationwide ad campaign for Gamestop, and a variety of unreleased pilots and proof of concept projects, including an 8-player cooperative VR escape room.

Managed the transition from a small, independent website to a part of a larger studio environment. Established and executed content strategy for transition from niche self-hosted video business to working within YouTube's recommendation algorithm. Grew 0 to 2M subscriptions in 3 years on YouTube. Managed monthly budgets for contributors, travel, etc. Responsible for interfacing with the advertising and business development teams to create new revenue opportunities. Launched, hosted, and produced multiple new franchises including Still Untitled: The Adam Savage Project, The Talking Room, and roughly 2500 videos featuring technology reviews, maker interviews, and profiles of interesting projects.

Conceptualized and launched Tested.com, a personality-driven technology vertical using the Whiskey Media platform. Established a strong editorial voice, product testing and review guidelines, multiple new franchises, and the Tested.com podcast, This Is Only a Test.
