Heathrow Airport

Spent four months working in various teams in the Engineering Department at British Airways:• Worked with employees with a primary aim of developing relationships between Airbus & its customers• Worked alongside the Part 21 structures team and contributed to several significant projects such as an A320 fuselage skin repair and BA’s first engine replacement of their A380 fleet.• Supported the Long Haul Casualty team and carried out Non Destructive Tests (NDT) and inspections, including a borescope inspection on a Boeing 747 engine core following a bird-strike incident.

Cranfield

Worked with the ATI to maintain and develop the UK’s position as a leader in the aerospace community:• Led the 'Data Acquisition for Validation of Edge of Envelope Modelling' or DAVEEM project. This included working with representatives from City University London, IHS, Aircraft Research Association (ARA) and the European Transonic Wind Tunnel (ETW) in Cologne.• Compiled a launch document for a UK-based Full Aircraft Capability Team (FACT).• Worked with the newly formed executive team to define the vision of the ATI in the next ten years

Energy In Motion is a not-for-profit Social Enterprise which aims to alleviate energy poverty in rural Africa through the provision of an affordable off-grid energy solution.Beginning as a project for the Imperial College Business School, Energy in Motion has developed into an enterprise which has generated interest from a host of potential investors. Energy In Motion's recent achievements include:• McKinsey & Company Venture Academy 2013 winners; recipients of £5,000 seed funding• Sole representatives of Imperial College London in the Santander Business Plan competition; recipients of £3,000 seed funding
