I partner with hospital leaders to discuss strategic priorities and find innovative grant funding opportunities to support these priorities by developing implementation and sustainability plans with administrative and medical teams. I monitor post-award compliance, with specific focus on government funding, and maintain relationships with internal and external partners. I create administrative procedures related to grant writing and management and act as lead internal resource on all matters grants. Special expertise in federal grant funding and compliance reporting.

I worked with the executive team and other directors and managers to develop, design, and implement projects and programs to expand services and create new methods of healthcare delivery. I partnered with all members of leadership to assess the needs of the community for service opportunities, identify funding opportunities, and design programs to meet those needs. I directed staff on systems and workflow changes necessary to increase efficiencies, productivity, and delivery of quality care to patients. I led the grants and program development team at Alluvion.

My role in the Director’s Office consisted of carrying out the mission of the Montana DPHHS to improve and protect the health, well-being, and self-reliance of all Montanans. I provided technical writing, project management, and strategic program analysis to a wide array of projects and programs of the agency's three branches and 12 divisions.

SCL Health is a nonprofit healthcare network which provides comprehensive care through 12 hospitals, 115+ physician clinics, home health care, hospice, mental health care and safety-net services in three states – Montana, Colorado, and Kansas. In the Montana region, I supported St. Vincent Healthcare, Holy Rosary Healthcare, and St. James Healthcare. I spent over four years in Montana at St. Vincent Healthcare Foundation in Billings before I relocated to the system-level position in Denver. My work consisted of securing and managing grant funds for SCL Health care sites across Montana and Colorado. I was responsible for grant proposal development and ensuring grant goals are met, with specific emphasis in bringing philanthropic dollars into Montana. I sought creative solutions to benefit each hospital's mission and have in turn, acquired a strong knowledge of the healthcare industry. My work involved overseeing financial grant obligations and reporting program progress and results, executing contracts and ensuring legal requirements are met, and establishing relationships with community donors, physicians, managers, and staff at each of SCL Health's nine care sites across Montana and Colorado.
