Levy and Lambdin was an insurance defense law firm. I worked directly with four partners and 10 to14 associates at a time handling many different cases. My responsibilities included working with the attorneys to determine how to defend large insurance companies in my specific cases, obtaining and summarizing all pertinent documents, interviewing witnesses and working with expert witnesses necessary to make an appropriate defense. I was responsible for preparing pleadings and motions, and for keeping all deadlines required by the court. I assisted the attorneys at trial by scheduling witnesses, preparing evidence and jury instructions.

I assisted a large number of paralegals in obtaining and organizing documents pertinent to their case.; Turner and Meiklejohn was a private practice specializing in personal injury law. I was responsible for assisting three attorneys in preparing their cases for trial. These responsibilities included preparing motions and pleadings in personal injury, worker's compensation and family law cases, obtaining, organizing and summarizing all records, scheduling all depositions, hearings, trials, and witnesses for trial. I was trusted to work first hand with our clients to guide them through the process of bringing a lawsuit and gave them the confidence and security they needed.
