I am a Technical Coordinator and the Design Technology Advocate for the Interiors group at HOK’s San Francisco Studio. As Technical Coordinator I am Responsible for ensuring the overall design intent of the project established by the Project Designer is incorporated into the detailed documentation. I monitor the design process from conceptual phase through construction administration, ensuring the design idea is consistent and properly executed. When there is need for technical resolution, the team relies on my expertise to guild them. I assist with product research to ensure our projects are getting exactly what they need. I work closely with Project Architects to provide clear and concise documentation for any given project. As a DTA he brings a vast knowledge of BIM related software as well as some software development to produce solutions for a project’s specific needs. I help start most projects for the interiors studio but setting the foundation for the models’ overall strategy on a project-to-project basis. I use Python as well as other industry software add-ins to develop solutions and easier workflows for project teams. For both my roles at HOK I lead small training sessions and present “tips and tricks” and “lessons learned” on a studio wide basis to help less experienced staff as well as keeping more experienced staffed up to date on newest tools that can best serve our projects. At HOK, I have worked on a variety of workplace and life sciences projects including, most recently, a 900,000sf laboratory and technology campus in Santa Clara County. As well as a smaller 20,000 sf Laboratory headquarters in Alameda.

Working in the Interiors Studio as a Technical Coordinator to produce details and documents on a variety of projects from workplace interiors to science and technology spaces as well as sports and athletic facilities. I work closely with Project Architects and Designers to coordinate design concepts, specs and details between consultants and contractors.

Worked with restaurant and hospitality clients to develop new stores in the Tri-State area. Create Revit models from site surveys and existing CAD drawings. Produced deliverables on timely deadlines based on a client timeline. Coordinate between consultants and clients based on the project schedule. Manage team of designers and help them along with the development of projects as well as their individual Revit skills.

Conduct site visits and site measures for residential and commercial projects. Developed DD and CD sets on multiple projects at a time using AutoCAD, Rhino and SketchUp. Coordinate work between principal, colleagues, and engineers. File construction drawings with necessary applications and paperwork to townships for permit approval. Accompany Principal on various seminars and town hearings for ARB in various townships.

Athlete for the senior men’s volleyball team playing in the Danish Volleyball League. Head coach of Denmarkssirses (5th division) men’s and women’s volleyball team and boy’s U21, U18, U16, U14 youth volleyball teams.

Prepared Revit models and CAD drawings with full SD CD and demo sets based off of Principals hand sketches for client presentation and eventual filing with township.
