Worked at Uber through a contracting agency. Inspected thousands of parts and subassemblies to ensure all components were built and assembled within specified tolerances (i.e. dimensional, surface roughness, pressurization, visual appearance, test scripts for code, et cetera), with a particular focus on PCBA's (per IPC-A-610) and related assemblies. Automated and optimized spreadsheet records. Additionally helped define, document, and improve the flow of parts through the quality team, including transaction, inspection, and results documentation processes. This position was an extension of my work as a Quality Technician, with the focus switching from more general inspection to PCBA inspection and data records management, optimization, and visualization. This allowed the quality team to more quickly and efficiently process parts.

In addition to the role of safety operator, I assisted with form creation, data collection and organization, and running of a user study focused on user responses to different indicators when they were too close to a manufacturing arm. The intent was to find which system minimized human interference with the machine during collaborative work. As safety operator, I was responsible for pressing the emergency kill switch if anything were to go wrong (i.e. if the system causing the robot to stop should an object be too close appeared to be failing). Zero incidents occurred.
