Mapping and CartographyA significant portion of my role involves delivering cartographic assistance to project managers at Stetson Engineers, across multiple office locations. This entails utilizing ArcGIS Pro (previously ArcMap) to craft figures for reports and technical memos, field maps, posters, and presentation slides, along with generating and disseminating ArcGIS.com webmaps, Dashboards, Field Maps, Collector, and StoryMaps. On average, I develop and/or refine 20-50 individual maps per week to meet project needs effectively.Spatial AnalysisMy expertise spans multiple platforms including ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, and QGIS, where I specialize in conducting comprehensive geospatial analyses. This includes tasks such as large data set analysis, watershed delineation, groundwater contouring, bulk geoprocessing, time-series raster processing, model grid polygon development, hydrologic modeling support, and constructing tools using Model Builder. I also excel in aerial imagery georeferencing, interpretation, and analysis, alongside map series design and layout, as well as intricate data visualization in both 2D and 3D formats. Each project demands an innovative problem-solving approach and often involves multi-step geoprocessing to deliver the requisite outputs.

Administered a $700,000 annual departmental budget which included allocation of funding for various international programs, and forecasting and budget development. Provided administrative and programmatic support for three regional managers, the departmental senior director, and international staff. Researched, managed data, and produced the 2003 joint Conservation International and United Nations Environment Programme publication ‘Tourism and Biodiversity: Mapping Tourism’s Global Footprint’. Designed and developed the appendix ArcExplorer and data CD for this publication.
