- Manage daily operations within each department of the restaurant, including Front Office, Bar and Maintenance, providing effective leadership, guidance and communication.- Provide support and training on the restaurant’s standards, policies and procedures, operational requirements and business objectives.- Manage the operational performance of the restaurant through meeting and exceeding set budgetary requirements. - Maintain strong working relationships with the co workers and suppliers and ensure open lines of communication are maintained.- Proactively seek sales and marketing opportunities, ensuring a focus on continuous business development ensuring maximum table yield & increase restaurant revenue through strategic sale practices and yield management.- Manage performance of Employees, Co-ordinate recruitment, induction, training & development of staff with the ability to provide regular feedback to management. - Manage and resolve customer complaints in a timely and appropriate manner to ensure optimum customer satisfaction.- Regularly monitor and report upon the restaurant's financial performance against the operational budget to achieve annual set targets.- Ensure business is compliant with all company guidelines, as well as laws including WH&S, licensing, fire regulations and essential services.- Lead by example and conduct yourself in a professional manner that reflects the company in a positive way.

Key Responsibilities• Office management, including:• Managing tenants• Liaising with the Building Manager.• Managing all office suppliers (cleaning through to stationary) and maintainingoffice supply levels• Procurement of Office equipment as and when required• Maintaining Office security and access card distribution• Reception duties (in person and back-up switchboard)• Mail collection and postage• Event management, including:• Meeting room external bookings and meeting support• Staff event catering and bookings• Group travel bookings• Company Administration, including:• Supporting the preparation of bi-monthly Board Packs• Correspondence support for SLT• Managing H&S and Finance forms and registers in Sharepoint• Supporting monthly financial administration (including credit card reconciliations,petty cash, membership database and fee support)• HR services, including:• Administration of employment records• Supporting the Chief Executive with annual salary reviews and job sizing• Recruitment support• New employee induction• Payroll and timesheet management for FishServe and Seafood New Zealand,including:• Management and reporting from FishServe’s timesheeting system• Liaising with the payroll provider• Management of all staff leave provisions• Co-ordination of fortnightly payroll requirements• Being the companies Health and Safety Officer, including• Implementing FishServe’s Health and Safety systems• Monitoring and reporting• Chairing the Health and Safety Committee• Managing employee support services• Supporting SLT and corporate services to implement wellbeing and other healthand safety initiatives• Supporting the assessment and review of policies and procedures
