Profile bio

About Olga Moriarty

I am on a mission to help small family farms and agriculture businesses thrive. I wear several hats to fulfill that mission. I've worked with hundreds of individuals working to strengthen the local food supply - grocers, farmers, value-added food processors, researchers, non-profit leaders, and elected officials in food and agriculture. Currently, I'm the executive director for the Northeast Organic Family Farm Partnership, a non-profit aiming to increase milk demand for organic dairy farmers in the Northeast US. Simply put, I want more cows in pastures, a working landscape that supports the regional economy, and healthy, non-toxic products on our store shelves. I also co-own a cost-reduction consulting company, Schooley Mitchell of Vermont. We help regional food manufacturing businesses, non-profits, and farms save an average of 28% on expenses like shipping, waste, telecom, and merchant services – and 85% of the time, we get these savings without switching vendors. I'm excited about farm and business profitability, market expansion, retailer engagement, and consumer education for the natural and organic sectors. I help the top and bottom line—any way to keep the family farms in business, get their products to more people, and support the health of people, communities, and the planet.

Listed skills include Event Planning, Public Relations, Fundraising, Event Management, and 24 others.
