I am a graduate of DeMontfort University completing 3 years and an industrial placement achieving a 1st Class BEng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. I have a passion for learning about new technologies, how things work and creating something from nothing. I enjoy the challenge of working through a project collectively, requiring communication and cooperation with other people to achieve the end goal and the detail and complexity of the finished product. I am hard working, technically minded and keen to learn and enhance my knowledge and skills in the engineering field whilst also being trustworthy and reliable, I can work independently and as part of a team with good organisational skills.My experience within my Industrial placement was with Eaton Electricals Ltd, where I would be supporting design and test engineers in Eaton’s Electrical & Industrial sector working on breaking & switching devices. This experience has significantly developed my confidence in my own ability, knowledge and understanding of engineering in the real world whilst developing my networking and people skills within a large organisation.Currently I am in my early stages of post University employment with RML Group as a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer. Here this has led me to focus my expertise on the vehicle and motorsport industry which has always been a great passion of mine, through this I have had involvement of multiple EV-HV system designs, LV system integration and vehicle harness design and build whilst also supporting in other areas of the business that require input from electrical design.
