Procurement Analyst And Administrator
Operational Variance Analyst
Finance Team Leader
Team Leader
My role is to supervise, guide, motivate and develop of team of call handlers making outbound and inbound calls to promote the products and services of our client. The day-to-day tasks entail tracking absence and performance, encouraging professional development, monitoring engagement and productivity, and being the first point of contact for system issues, queries, concerns, and welfare matters. This involved high levels of organisation and prioritisation, regular communication and interaction on multiple levels, liaising with other departments and areas of the business, handling any complaints and disciplinary matters, and meeting client and business KPIs to maximise profit and growth. Aside from the day-to-day tasks, I am involved in making reports analysing and forecasting performance, training, recruitment, and quality assurance of the team and wider campaign and presenting this to senior management and clients. I was utilised as an operational representative for the recruitment process of new staff, providing feedback to the recruitment team and prospective employees on the needs and requirements for specific campaigns, and to assess suitability and team allocation in a timely manner. In addition to taking a strong lead on long-term absence and mental health related issues on my campaign, I have also conducted disciplinary meetings, and taken notes to document these appropriately, following HR guidelines and policies. Furthermore, I have assisted in the development of several team leaders and support staff to ensure a common standard and practice is maintained between teams, and areas of development are identified and addressed where necessary. The role requires the ability to use multiple systems and applications, including but not limited to; MS Office applications (particularly Excel), client systems, reporting and data management systems, and a variety of systems implemented during an extended period working from home.
Operational Support Associate
My role was to process emails and use the phone to collect debt owed to our clients. Compliance with GDPR, multiple regulators, and ensuring equal and fair treatment was paramount. I worked as part of a team in a busy office environment, processing and scrutinising a high volume of correspondence. I created reports and analysed data, requiring strong attention to detail combined with clear communication within a team.
Head Of Area Installation Coordinator
I coordinated a large volume of kitchen orders along several stages of the installation process - contacting customers to provide a 'welcome call', arrange the dates of their delivery and installation, contact installers and manufacturers, and interceding when problems arise. As someone who contacts over 100 individuals a day, through email & calls, I have demonstrated an impressive level of communication, both written and verbal. I was required to operate applications whilst simultaneously handling a call - these include MS Officeapplications, a web-based frontend system, multiple email accounts, and a call handling monitor.
Associate Teacher
My day-to-day tasks included covering lessons for any absent teachers, spanning a range of subjects and ages, and often on very short notice. This included classroom management skills, the ability to encourage engagement and participation, create rapport, and ensure all students were on task. Outside of covering duties, I actively assisted in varies lessons to assist under-performers, those who had absence concerns and needed intervention assistance. With those students in key stage 4, I often assisted with coursework, UCAS applications, and invigilating exams. I took an active role in extracurricular activities, such as sports clubs, afterschool coursework assistance, school trips, talent shows, college visits, and leading lessons when primary school classes visited. The role was centrally focussed on encouraging engagement from those in the highest at-risk groups. This included students with English as a second language, poor attendance, behavioural challenges, additional learning requirements, and other vulnerable students. I liaised with multiple departments and at every level in order to take the lead in planning, implementing, delivery, and re-evaluation of training programs and materials for individual needs. Furthermore, I carried out administrative duties, including data entry tasks, email correspondence, and other data management duties on systems such as SIMS. The role also covered a range of duties to assist with administrative support of the academy
Retail Catering Supervisor
I supervised a catering area called Eats and Eats Italia. I was heavily involved in the organisation and development of the areas as they were newly opened facilities. I implemented a number of processes throughout my time at HUU, with an aim to ensure high customer satisfaction whilst maintaining an efficient business. This included streamlining the budget through portion controls, overhauling the rota and giving clear roles to staff, taking ownership for supply orders and deliveries, training new staff and highlighting areas of development where needed, administrative tasks, amongst others. A key aspect of the role was to encourage student participation and act on feedback. This encouraged meetings to be held between different managers to help influence a more positive student experience.
Retail Catering Assistant
I operate a large food kiosk. This entailed fast service food provision of various items of food and drink, whereby I was responsible for the cleanliness, stock management, customer service, money handling and quality control. This role is one of self-motivation and strong customer service. I believe that this is something my work ethic has enabled me to excel in.
Match-Day Supervisor
As a Supervisor, I lead a team that provides a variety of quality food and drink to great volumes of customers in a timely manner. Teams comprise of between 10 and 15 members, depending upon the unit. During my time at the KC Stadium, I have been entrusted with large sums of money, gained valuable experience leading and organising staff, and I have consistently met and surpassed targets for takings. As such, I have received awards for personal accomplishments alongside praise for my staff management skills (members of my team has received awards, too).
Course Representative (Volunteer)
As a Course Representative I acted as the link between students and staff within the Politics and International Studies department. In doing so I alleviated many of the concerns of fellow students by mediating them to staff in meetings, and relaying the reasons or solutions back. Although the process and role was fairly low pressure, this is doubtlessly due to the efficiency of the system prior to my membership. I was active in meetings; raising issues, and offering solutions to other Course Representatives, and often found myself highlighting simple solutions that were occasionally overlooked.
