About Senior Neighbors:Services that Senior Neighbors Inc. provide include Case Management, Healthy Aging Programs, Home Maintenance, Senior Centers, Transportation Services, and Volunteer Opportunities. Senior Neighbors has five senior centers; located in Grand Rapids, Grandville, Lowell, Sparta, and Walker. Responsibilities:-plan, schedule, and implement events for groups as little as five as large as 400-coordinate and manage volunteers-develop and schedule monthly themes that span 12 months for five Senior Neighbors centers-network within local organizations and partnerships such as Dementia Friendly GR, Volunteer Management Association of West Michigan, and Michigan Association of Senior Centers -help further define the volunteer procedures and help with volunteer evaluationsattend daily, weekly, or monthly meetings as scheduled

-schedule and lead daily activities -hire, train and supervise teams of assistants at two sites -plan and schedule appropriate staff to maintain required caregiver/child ratio -manage and verify daily attendance records for two sites -plan and coordinate activities and fundraisers -collect and process payments at Mt. Pleasant City Hall -proof and deliver staff time sheets to City Hall for processing -perform additional tasks as instructed

-create weekly newsletters to be distributed to families -assist the Site Coordinator in biweekly planning, daily activities and training Assistants-perform additional tasks as instructed

-assist with caring for school age children at after-school program -maintain safe environments for the children -prepare site for activities and cleaning up after -communicate with parents and share necessary information -build relationships within the school district and the community

-greet customers and take food orders-collect money and make correct change -prepare and package correct food and drink orders-re-stock, clean and maintain workplace -attend crew trainer meetings -train new employees and offer guidance to current employees

-greet parents and children arriving for camp -help campers get settled into cabins and familiar with camp rules-follow daily schedules and coordinate activities -certified on all adventure course activities -assist with serving meals
