I was hired to serve as a resident assistant in an upperclassman hall during the Spring 2024 semester and rehired to serve as an RA again in a freshman hall during the 2024-2025 academic year.

I work part-time on weekends and school breaks at a Clark's Shoes, demonstrating customer service skills and reliability.

I am an executive board member for the University Programming Council (UPC). In this organization, we plan all of the things that happen around campus, such as concerts, fundraisers, and other campus wide happenings. My exact title is Community Outreach Coordinator, and in this position, I forge connections between UPC and the outward Valparaiso Community in order to form partnerships between the city and university. I was recently elected as Vice President and will serve as that over the 2024-2025 academic year.

I am a Senator in Valparaiso University’s Student Senate, our student government. By doing this, I am a representative of my peers and bring our collective issues to light in order to make positive change around campus.

To fulfill my duties as Features Editor on campus' newspaper, I come up with ideas for about three pages of articles, write them, edit others’, arrange them on the pages, and aid my fellow editors in their endeavors.

I worked as a cashier, sales associate, trainer, and did merchandising. I helped train new employees, work on the register, set out clothing displays, and help customers on the sales floor. On average, I worked 20-25 hours a week in addition to school.

I helped with childcare after school duties at an elementary school. My job included helping kids in grades K-6 with homework, doing various activities, and making sure they were attended to.
