- ESCAPE is a dynamic retreat experience & reflection program for Georgetown’s 1st-year & transfer students. Reflection is a central part of the overnight. Attendees are arranged in small groups, led by upper-level student mentors, to foster a sense of meaning and belonging throughout the retreat and the rest of one’s Georgetown career. -Aided in creating a sense of community while on the retreats and beyond.-Built rich and deep connections amongst small groups throughout the year.-Became a mentor to first-year students and became an older figure to help navigate campus life.
