Having spent 12 years in supply chain, I have discovered that my passion isn't just for ensuring supply meets demand, or that we are achieving our inventory targets and DIFOT. What really drives me is the desire to improve any aspects of the supply chain, or even other areas of the business that I can sense an opportunity in. I have been engulfed in a culture of innovation, which has been fostered within the environment I've worked in. This has spurred me on to complete over 90 ideas to help improve functions within the business.Over the past 5 years I have delivered sizeable cost savings on inward freight, developed measures for and improved the customer cycle times for finished goods and been heavily involved in many other projects including RFPs, Product Line Introduction and Spare Parts EoL improvements.As a manager I get great pride from getting the best out of my team, I firmly believe that keeping staff engaged is the best way achieve the results you want as a team or business.
