I began with ITS Partners in the Spring of 2014. Since that time I have had wonderful experiences working on mobile device management , Altiris implementations and longer term large enterprise projects. I am currently working on a long term project attached to a government agency both stabilizing and improving their existing Symantec ITMS 7.1 infrastructure as well as managing the transition to 7.6.I am also investing in SCRUM. I am very excited to be learning a management tool that has brought a new focus to projects over the old school waterfall project style that I used to use in the past. Our company is putting a lot of attention into these new approaches for our internal software projects and offerrings.

Architect IIHired to build a Symantec consulting practice at Insight. Focused on endpoint management and mobility. Led an initiative at Insight to implement and provide services around Symantec App Center. This included building on-prem. and hosted demo environments, testing product as potential replacement for Good Software at Insight, and all pre-sales efforts around App Center. Led large Altiris project for major pharmaceutical company spinning off new company from parent company, building new environment for spin-off company and separating approximately 80k endpoints managing 30k of these endpoints with new Altiris infrastructure.

SENIOR SYMANTEC CONSULTANT Hired to provide consulting services on Symantec Management Platform 7.x (Altiris). Architect and implement enterprise level solutions regarding Altiris, including knowledge transfer at engagement close. Author project documentation. Provide post-engagement solution support and guidance.

Contracted to provide consulting services on Altiris Client Management Solution 7. Client had attempted to upgrade from version 6 to version 7 unsuccessfully. Rebuilt and upgraded main Altiris Server. Redeployed Symantec Management Agent and related solutions. Built proof of concepts for Inventory Solution, Patch Management and Software Solutions. Left client with fully functioning Altiris implementation and a road map enabling their continued management of this enterprise level application.

Provided consulting services on enterprise level software deployments focused on Altiris NS and DS, as well as Symantec Endpoint Protection. Prioritized ticket urgency, created color coded ticket system to mark task urgency, and developed personnel rotations to increase efficiency and significantly reduce ticket processing time. Decreased percentage of late tickets from 20% to .05%.Maintained high level of direct customer satisfaction. Key player in Adidas American region Altiris NS and DS Implementation. Brought Altiris to desktop support teams, maximized department Altiris use, and increased efficiency by 25%. First North American team to implement Altiris Solution; leading team for Altiris implementation in Canada and Mexico.Implemented Inventory Control System creating stockpile of needed equipment to more rapidly satisfy purchases. Led software/hardware purchasing, and made recommendations to senior management on most cost effective tools/processes. Analyzed and recommended changes to purchasing procedures and processes to streamline ordering. Decreased inaccurate ordering by 50%.Decreased excess purchasing, and reduced overhead.

I spent a total of 2.5 years working as a trainer in a classroom teaching 1 and 2 day classes on a variety of operating systems and applications. Common classes were things like Intro to Windows. Microsoft Word, Beg, Int, Adv and so on. I also approx one of those years as both a trainer and the training manager of the full time training staff

Alpha Computers at their high point had 5 retail locations and macintosh and pc training classrooms in the back of several of the stores. I was brought on to be the Macintosh trainer at the Lake Oswego store and headquarters. I did everything from teach the classes, write the materials and manage the hardware in the classrooms.
