Assist Habitat for Humanity to establish an affiliate in Dallas County through consistent and positive interaction with the residents of the county, recruitment of volunteers, creation of a local Steering Committee, and carrying out housing rebuild, repair, and new construction projects. Help Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity expand its programs and mission into the areas surrounding the city of Des Moines.

This is a non-paid elected position. The Chair of the party and 3 vice-chairs form the executive council, and together with the party's state central committee guide the vision and mission of the Iowa Democratic Party. In this role my mission is to ensure that the progressive values of the Democratic Party are known and understood by all communities around Iowa - especially those minority communities that have been historically underrepresented in the political/civic arena.

Assist Iowans to navigate federal programs and communicate with federal agencies. Outreach to ethnic minority communities in Iowa.

Coordinate strategy to educate Latinos about the importance of voting. Execute plan to mobilize Latinos to vote early and on voting day.
