Function, effectiveness, and the data to back it up all trump aesthetic in my remote position here. I design for results, and with a team of clever marketing strategists each with varying specializations on my side, I am able to create solid landing pages, web ads, and webinar presentations for both internal initiatives and clients.

Working on a team with instructional designers and programmers, I design and develop interfaces for e-learning courses and applications for our clients. Additionally, I support our marketing initiatives by generating graphics for blog posts, our websites, and promotional material for events.

Working on a marketing team of 2 for an appraisal software company, I collaborated with our Director of Marketing to develop all of our marketing and design collateral. In my two years there, I handled the redesign of the company logo, all branded internal documents, and various promotional items. I assisted in developing the concept of the structural design of their 20ft expo booth as well as created graphics for their displays. On a daily basis, I assisted in maintaining the company’s WordPress site by posting software update notifications, blog posts, and their training schedule. Bi-weekly emails were developed, designed, and sent out to their 25,000 subscribers. I was also responsible for editing recorded training videos. As they transitioned their software from desktop to a cloud-computed solution, I assisted in the design of the user interface. Every quarter I designed a full-page print ad and ran pre-flight checks for submission. Various other tasks included web ads and banners, website templates for their clients, brochures, booklets, and product documentation, as well as internal requests.

In this small studio, with the guidance of the Creative Director, I handled various projects including identity development, printed materials, publication management and design, digital presentations, web graphics, and apparel. I worked directly with clients to see concepts through from idea to completion.
