“Successful engineering is all about understanding how things break or fail.”– Henry Petroski, American engineer and authorI attribute my success as an engineer to my ability to dive into a problem, analyze the root cause, and design long-term solutions that drive productivity. Whether the failure stems from an error in a complex line of code or a faulty robotic mechanism, my capacity to discover and mitigate intricate problems has resulted in cost savings and efficiency gains. At this point in my career, I look forward to applying the skills and experience I have gained in robotics engineering to software development roles. I have supplemented my technical knowledge with courses in C++ and have a track record in successful hardware engineering design, application development, testing, project management, and technical troubleshooting.A FEW SUCCESSES► PROGRAMMING: Programmed and tuned motor controls to ensure optimal, consistent and reliable performance, reducing errors during production. I have also developed test programs to collect data and fine-tuned robotics.► TROUBLESHOOTING: By regularly troubleshooting time-sensitive and complex automation issues, I can quickly identify and repair problems to reduce downtime and avoid production delays.► PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Recently led a project redesigning robotic fingers to avoid mechanical failures, improve strength, and reduce costs. Ran FEA simulations, redesigning parts based on results, acquired test parts, collected test data, and analyzed results to make effective improvements. My early career equipped me with programming experience. I utilized C#, VB.NET, web services, HTML, SQL, and XML to develop a custom ASP.NET web program. Independently, learned the intricacies of each language to successfully develop the web program.I welcome connections with those who share my appreciation for technology, engineering, innovation, and continuous improvement.
