• Preparing and maintaining laboratory documents and records as per the Laboratory Quality Manual.• Participation in the implementation of the Quality Management System in the Laboratory.• Carrying out validation of clients’ and new test methods for microbiological and analytical tests.• Carrying out microbiological analyses as per the laboratory’s scope of tests using approved standards and methods in line with ISO/IEC 17025.• Evaluating and interpretation of test results and approval of final test reports.• Conducting in-house training for new staffs and students on attachment and internship.

• Carrying out analytical and microbiological work within food and agriculture laboratory’s scope of tests using approved standards and methods in line with ISO/IEC 17025.• Preparing, standardizing and storage of all chemicals and reagents as per the approved procedures.• Sampling and transporting, receiving, verifying, registering and proper storage of samples in the laboratory.• Proper management of equipment including operating, routine maintenance, reporting of fault and request for calibrations and servicing.• Compiling, evaluating and interpretation of test results before approval of final test reports.
