With a diploma in Fashion Techniques and Design from George Brown College, I have a solid foundation in the theoretical and practical aspects of fashion design. I changed majors from Fashion Management in 2017 to Fashion Techniques and Design, after realising my passion for the more technical side of fashion.I have almost three years of experience in the fashion industry, working for different Toronto-based brands as a Production Associate/Assistant Designer, Internal Manufacturing Manager, and Shop Assistant. I have developed and honed my skills in product development, production planning, and material sourcing. I have also used various technical tools, such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Shopify, and Microsoft Office, to support my creative and operational tasks.Currently, I am a Repair Hero at Alpkit Edinburgh, an outdoor clothing and equipment company that focuses on sustainability and functionality. I apply my passion and expertise in garment construction and design to fix and mend outdoor clothing and equipment for customers who value sustainability and functionality. I enjoy working with a team of like-minded people who share my interests and values of creating functional and sustainable gear for the outdoors!
