I was one of two managers. Together, we managed two pools and over 60 lifeguards. We were in charge of scheduling. We were also tasked with coordinating between the neighborhood leadership and pool company leadership. Throughout this job, I communicated and collaborated with the construction staff, my supervisor, my regional manager, the lifeguards, the community, the neighborhood police force, and the neighborhood general managers.

In this role, I was in charge of between 30 and 50 residents, depending on the location. In the last year of this job, the university adopted a new model that transferred my role into more of a community-building role. In this role, I took the position of Experience VT where I was tasked with connecting my residents with interesting and helpful resources and activities at Virginia Tech. This included fraternities, clubs, intramural sports, jobs, counseling, academic help, and more. In the 2022-2023 school year, the residential advisors and I in my dorm won "Community of the Year" for our work.
