I was the producer in charge of all aspects of high-profile radio show. This entails developing story-lines and content, finding and editing great audio, booking guests, etc. Most importantly, my main job is to lead this talented group of hosts, reporters, editors in creating GREAT, resonating, entertaining and insightful audio content.

This entails developing story-lines and content, finding and editing great audio, booking guests, working closely with talent and staff, etc. In 6-months, John and I partnered to take the show from the lower teens to now being the # 1 show in our time-slot, A25-54.

Organizing staff: In charge of scheduling, content generation, event planning, etc.Share growth: Since I became PD November 2009, share % for the station has grown steadily (prime M25-54): 2.1 in the December, 3.1 to a 4.8 in April and 4.3 in July and a 4.7 in August. Relationships: Responsible for growing and sustaining strong relationships with our corporate partners (Seahawks, Mariners).

October 2006 – January 2009ESPN Radio, 1070 MadisonCo-host “Heller and Murphy,” APD - ESPN 1070, TheBig1070.com web editorCo-host: # 1 show (M25-54) with market share % 9.2 fall 2007 to an 11.3 winter, 2007.Talent coach: Taught ESPN “play the hits” credo, created a blueprint for our SC anchors to increase TSL.Remote broadcast organization: Organized all aspects remote shows. Executive producer: Guest booking, topic selection, comedy production. Station imaging: Created imaging campaigns to launch shows, increase TSL.Webmaster: Took over our fledgling web site and increased page views and podcast downloads exponentially. Led a team in launching a new station web site TheBig1070.com.

Lead Producer - Dan Patrick Show Led high profile staff in generating ideas, topics, comedy bits, interview questions, teases and angles for the show. Organized all of these components into a cohesive plan; a one-sheet called the “DP3,” which put the plan in place for everyone to see. Guest booking: Integral part of guest booking, worked to make sure we had the perfect guest for every topic.  Integration: Integrated high-profile talent, like Keith Olbermann, Rick Reilly and Reggie Miller into the program. Share: Share growth at ESPN Radio o and o’s: At ESPN 1000 in Chicago, our formula helped increase ratings (M: 18-49 1p 3p) from 3.0 in spring 05 to a 4.7 in spring 06. At ESPN in L.A., The Dan Patrick Show improved to a 1.9 share from a 1.0 a spring 05 to spring 06. In this same time period, ESPN Radio in Pittsburgh went from a 1.6 to a 5.2 men 25-54. ESPN 1050 in New York’s midday’s had record 4:15 TSL.Also producer on Mike and Mike in the Morning, Gamenight, and Sportsbash.
